Amazon should be ashamed, to carry this "cooler". IF you sit on the floor, two feet in front of it, you MIGHT keep your face and upper body cool. But, that's doubtful. A hair drier, ON LOW, moves more than this thing on "High". On "high" the fan barely moves any air. I guess it might be useful to add a little moisture to the air, on hot dry days.
Figured it out but the instructions that come with it are not very clear. It tries its best but these heatwaves beat it until sun goes down.

The humidity this machine created made my small room even HOTTER! Do yourself a favor and spend the little bit of extra money on an actual portable AC unit that pumps the hot air out.
Bought it for this chick to score brownie points because her ac kicked and needed a new one. She says it works really well.
